Kim Wilde is an English pop singer, songwriter, and television presenter who rose to fame in the early 1980s. Her debut single "Kids in America" became a major international hit, reaching the top five in the UK and charting across Europe and beyond. She continued her success with further hits such as "Cambodia," "You Keep Me Hangin' On," and "You Came," establishing herself as a prominent figure in the synth-pop and new wave scenes. Born in Chiswick, London, in 1960, Wilde is the daughter of 1950s rock and roll singer Marty Wilde. Over the course of her career she has released numerous albums, collaborated with a range of producers, and maintained a presence in the music industry for more than four decades. In addition to her recording work, she has also worked as a television presenter and landscape gardener.
