Margo Price is an American singer-songwriter from Aledo, Illinois, known for her work in alt-country, Americana, and outlaw country. She first gained widespread attention with her 2016 debut album "Midwest Farmer’s Daughter," recorded at Sun Studio and released on Jack White’s Third Man Records. Price’s songwriting often draws on personal experience, addressing themes of hardship, resilience, and the working-class Midwest. She has since released several critically regarded albums and is recognized for her distinctive voice and live performances.
