Celeste Epiphany Waite (born 5 May 1994) is a British singer and songwriter raised in Brighton after being born in Los Angeles. She first gained attention with her 2019 single "Strange" and the follow-up "Stop This Flame," both of which showcased her rich, emotive voice and blend of soul, jazz and orchestral pop. Her debut album Not Your Muse arrived in 2021, earning critical acclaim and a Mercury Prize nomination.
