Bio

Matthieu Tota, known professionally as M. Pokora, is a French singer, songwriter, dancer and actor born in Strasbourg in 1985. He first rose to prominence as a member of the French boy band Linkup, which won the reality competition Popstars in 2003. After the group disbanded, he launched a solo career that blended French pop, R&B and variété, releasing a string of successful albums and singles in France and French-speaking markets. Beyond music, Pokora has appeared on French television as a coach on The Voice Kids and as a judge on other programs, and he has taken leading roles in stage musicals such as Robin des Bois and Les Trois Mousquetaires. His work has earned multiple NRJ Music Awards and other French music honors, establishing him as one of the most visible pop entertainers in contemporary France.
