Morgan Evans is an Australian country singer-songwriter born on 24 April 1985 in Newcastle, New South Wales. He began his career performing in local pubs and clubs before releasing his debut album, "Live at the Pub," in 2007. Evans gained wider recognition after moving to Nashville, where he signed with Warner Music Nashville and released his self-titled EP in 2014. His breakthrough came with the 2018 album "Things That We Drink To," which featured the hit single "Kiss Somebody." The track reached number one on the Australian country charts and earned him multiple Country Music Awards of Australia.
