thasup (born Davide Mattei, 17 March 2001) is an Italian rapper and producer from Fiumicino, near Rome. He first gained attention in the late 2010s under the name tha Supreme, releasing a string of viral singles and collaborations that helped define the current wave of Italian trap. His 2020 debut album 23 6451 showcased a self-produced, genre-blurring style that mixed trap, pop and electronic elements. Subsequent projects such as s!r! have kept him at the forefront of Italy’s streaming charts and cemented his reputation as one of the country’s most influential young artists.
