Mavo is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer from Lagos. He first gained attention in the late 2010s with melodic Afrobeats and R&B singles that blended smooth vocals with contemporary production. His breakthrough came with the 2022 single “Kilode,” which amassed millions of streams and led to wider recognition across West Africa. Mavo has since released projects such as the EP “Different” and collaborated with producers and artists in the Nigerian music scene. His sound sits between Afrobeats, R&B and pop, often featuring introspective lyrics and polished beats.
