Timbuktu is a Swedish rapper and singer born in Lund, Sweden, in 1975. He emerged in the late 1990s as part of the Swedish hip hop scene and gained recognition with his 2000 debut album "Timbuktu." Known for blending hip hop with reggae, soul, and funk influences, he has released multiple albums and collaborated with artists such as Damn! and the reggae group Dag Vag. Timbuktu is also noted for his socially conscious lyrics and has been active in various music projects and live performances throughout his career.
