Drafi Deutscher was a German singer and songwriter who rose to prominence in the 1960s with his hit single "Marmor, Stein und Eisen bricht." Born in Berlin in 1946, he became a prominent figure in the German music scene, blending schlager with pop and later contributing to the Neue Deutsche Welle movement. Over a career spanning four decades, he released numerous albums and singles, often performing under various pseudonyms. Deutscher continued recording and performing until his death in 2006.
