Benediction

Bio

Benediction is a British death metal band formed in Birmingham in 1988. The group emerged during the UK’s late-1980s extreme-metal wave and quickly established a reputation for raw, grinding riffs and guttural vocals. Over more than three decades the band has released eight studio albums, beginning with their 1990 debut “Subconscious Terror” and continuing through 2018’s “Scriptures.” Their sound blends classic death metal with grindcore and thrash influences, and they remain active on the European festival circuit.
