Piri is a British singer, songwriter and producer born in Manchester on 14 March 1999. She first gained attention in the UK underground scene with her 2021 single "Soft Spot," which showcased her blend of liquid drum-and-bass, UK garage and rally house. Her intimate, bedroom-recorded vocals and melodic basslines quickly earned her a cult following online. In 2022 she teamed up with producer Tommy Villiers as the duo Piri & Tommy, releasing the mixtape "Froge.mp3" and the hit single "On & On." The track became a viral sensation on TikTok, reached the UK Top 20 and was later certified silver. The pair toured extensively and performed at major festivals, cementing piri’s reputation for catchy, dance-floor-ready pop. Beyond her own material, piri has contributed songwriting and guest vocals to other drum-and-bass and garage projects, while continuing to release solo singles that explore themes of young love and digital-age relationships. Her work is noted for its candid lyricism, bright synth palettes and fusion of 2000s nostalgia with contemporary club sounds.
