CeCe Winans is an American gospel and Christian music singer, songwriter, and television host. Born Priscilla Marie Winans in Detroit, Michigan, she rose to prominence in the 1980s as part of the duo BeBe & CeCe Winans before launching a successful solo career. Known for her powerful vocals and contemporary gospel style, she has released multiple albums that blend worship, R&B, and inspirational themes. Throughout her career, Winans has become one of the best-selling and most awarded gospel artists, recognized for hits such as "Alabaster Box" and "Pray." She has also hosted the television program "The CeCe Winans Show" and founded a worship ministry. Her work continues to influence both gospel and mainstream Christian music audiences.
