Bio
The Chorus of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden is the resident vocal ensemble of the Royal Opera House in London, performing in the company’s opera and ballet productions. Founded alongside the opera company in 1946, the chorus has appeared in countless performances of the standard operatic repertoire as well as new commissions, working under the direction of the Royal Opera’s music and chorus directors. Its members are drawn from the United Kingdom and abroad, and the ensemble regularly collaborates with internationally renowned conductors and soloists.
