BANNERS is the stage name of Liverpool-born singer-songwriter Michael Joseph Nelson. He first gained attention in 2016 with the single "Start a Riot," which was featured in numerous television shows and trailers. His music blends anthemic pop-rock with introspective lyrics, and he has released several EPs and albums on Island Records.
