Bio
Salt-N-Pepa is an American hip-hop trio formed in Queens, New York in 1985. The group consists of Salt (Cheryl James), Pepa (Sandra Denton), and DJ Spinderella (Deidra Roper). They rose to prominence with their 1986 debut single "The Showstopper," which led to a record deal and their first album Hot, Cool & Vicious (1986).
