Pet Shop Boys are an English synth-pop duo formed in London in 1981 by Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe. They rose to prominence in the mid-1980s with hits such as "West End Girls" and "It's a Sin," becoming one of the most successful British pop acts of the era. Known for their sophisticated electronic sound, witty lyrics, and distinctive visual style, the duo has released over a dozen studio albums and maintained a consistent presence on the charts for four decades.
