Ashley McBryde is an American country singer-songwriter born July 29, 1983, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. She grew up in a rural area and began performing in local bars and clubs before moving to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. McBryde gained wider recognition with her 2017 album Girl Going Nowhere, which earned critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination.
