Khia is an American rapper and songwriter born in Philadelphia on November 8, 1977 and raised in Tampa, Florida. She first gained national attention in 2002 with the single “My Neck, My Back (Lick It),” which peaked in the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 and became a defining club and radio hit of the early 2000s. Her debut album, Thug Misses, followed the same year and established her signature explicit, confrontational style. Subsequent releases such as Gangstress (2006) and Nasti Muzik (2008) continued to showcase her raw lyricism and independent approach, while later mixtapes and singles have kept her catalog active into the streaming era.
