Bio

Shinichi Osawa is a Japanese musician, DJ, and record producer born in Ōtsu, Japan, on February 7, 1967. He first gained recognition in the 1990s as the leader of the rock band Mondo Grosso, blending jazz, funk, and electronic sounds. After the group went on hiatus, Osawa launched a solo career focused on house and electro music, releasing albums such as The One and working under the moniker Mondo Grosso for instrumental projects. His work has also extended to anime soundtracks and collaborations with vocalists across the J-pop and electronic scenes.
