Bio
Peter Rauhofer (1965–2013) was an Austrian DJ, producer, and remixer best known for his work in tribal house and progressive dance music. Born in Vienna, he gained international recognition in the late 1990s and early 2000s with club hits such as "Star 69 (What the F**k)" under his Club 69 alias and numerous high-profile remixes for artists including Madonna, Cher, and Whitney Houston. Rauhofer founded the record label Star 69 Records and released several albums and compilations that helped define the tribal-house sound of the era. He received a Grammy Award for his remix of Cher’s "Believe" and remained an influential figure in New York’s club scene until his death in 2013.
