Cody Johnson is an American country singer-songwriter from Texas known for his authentic outlaw-country and red dirt sound. He began performing in honky-tonks and rodeo circuits before releasing independent albums that built a loyal regional following. His major-label debut, Gotta Be Me, and the platinum-certified single “Til You Can’t” propelled him to national prominence. Johnson writes most of his material and is recognized for his powerful live shows and traditionalist stance within contemporary country music.
