Bio
Shantel (born Stefan Hantel, 2 March 1968) is a German DJ and producer from Mannheim. He is best known for blending Balkan brass music with electronic dance beats, creating the "Bucovina Club" sound that gained international attention in the mid-2000s. His breakthrough album "Disko Partizani" (2007) popularized this fusion style across Europe, and he has since released several albums and curated compilations that mix traditional folk elements with contemporary club music.
