4hero is a British duo formed in 1989 by Marc Mac and Dego. Emerging from the London breakbeat scene, they became key figures in the development of jungle and drum and bass, later expanding into acid jazz, nu jazz, and trip hop. Their work is noted for blending electronic production with live instrumentation and soulful influences.
