Sardool Sikander (15 January 1961 – 24 February 2021) was an Indian singer from Punjab renowned for his contributions to Punjabi folk, bhangra, and devotional music. He rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s with energetic bhangra tracks and heartfelt bhajans, becoming a staple voice in Punjabi popular music. Throughout his career he released numerous albums that blended traditional Punjabi rhythms with contemporary pop arrangements, earning him a wide audience across India and the diaspora. His warm, powerful vocal style made him equally at home performing celebratory dance numbers and spiritually themed songs. Sikander remained active until his death in 2021, leaving behind a substantial recorded legacy that continues to be celebrated in Punjabi music circles.
