Jessica Simpson is an American singer, actress, and fashion designer born on July 10, 1980, in Abilene, Texas. She rose to fame in the late 1990s with her debut album Sweet Kisses, which featured the hit single "I Wanna Love You Forever." Over the following decade, she released several successful albums, including Irresistible and In This Skin, establishing herself as a prominent pop artist. Beyond music, Simpson has appeared in films and reality television, most notably starring alongside her then-husband Nick Lachey in the MTV series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.
