Syleena Johnson is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter from Harvey, Illinois. She rose to prominence in the early 2000s with her debut album Chapter 1: Love, Pain & Forgiveness and subsequent releases in the Chapter series. Known for her powerful, gospel-influenced vocals, she has collaborated with artists including Common, R. Kelly, and Kanye West.
