Bio

RBD is a Mexican pop group formed in 2004 in Mexico City. The ensemble rose to fame through the telenovela Rebelde, in which its members portrayed fictional band members, and quickly became one of the most successful Latin pop acts of the 2000s. The group released six studio albums between 2004 and 2009, selling millions of records across Latin America, the United States, and Europe. Their music blended pop, rock, and Latin rhythms, and they performed in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. RBD officially disbanded in 2009 after a farewell tour. In 2023 the original members reunited for a limited series of concerts, reigniting interest in their catalog.
