Bio
Jimi Hendrix (1942–1970) was an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose innovative use of feedback, distortion, and the wah-wah pedal redefined electric guitar technique. Born in Seattle, he rose to fame in the late 1960s with his group the Jimi Hendrix Experience, releasing landmark albums such as Are You Experienced and Electric Ladyland. Hendrix’s fusion of blues, rock, and psychedelic elements made him one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century.
