Bio
The Staves are a British folk-rock trio formed in Watford in 2010 by sisters Emily, Jessica, and Camilla Staveley-Taylor. Their close harmonies and acoustic-driven songs draw on both traditional folk and contemporary indie influences, earning them a reputation for intimate, emotionally resonant performances. After self-releasing early EPs, the group gained wider attention with their 2012 debut album "Dead & Born & Grown," produced by Glyn Johns. Subsequent releases such as "If I Was" (2015) and "Good Woman" (2021) further showcased their evolving sound, incorporating fuller band arrangements while retaining the signature vocal blend that has become their hallmark.
