Fred Ventura, born Federico Di Bonaventura on 16 June 1962 in Milan, Italy, is an Italian singer, songwriter and producer. He emerged in the mid-1980s as a prominent figure in the Italo-disco and Hi-NRG scenes, releasing singles such as "Wind of Change" and "Night and Day" that became club staples across Europe. Ventura has maintained an active presence in dance music for nearly four decades, both as a solo artist and in production roles. His work is characterized by catchy melodies, electronic beats and English-language lyrics, and he continues to perform and release new material within the Italo-dance genre.
