Bio

Lemon Jelly was a British electronic music duo formed in London in 1998 by Fred Deakin and Nick Franglen. The group became known for its sample-based, downtempo sound that blended elements of trip hop and plunderphonics, often incorporating vintage recordings and quirky, nostalgic imagery. Active until 2008, Lemon Jelly released three studio albums—Lemonjelly.ky (2000), Lost Horizons (2002), and '64–'95 (2005)—each accompanied by distinctive animated artwork and singles that charted in the UK. Their music was noted for its playful yet atmospheric production, earning them a dedicated following in the early-2000s electronic scene.
