Obongjayar is a Nigerian-British singer-songwriter born in Calabar, Nigeria, on 16 October 1989. Raised in London, he blends alté, soul, and electronic sounds with introspective lyrics drawn from his dual heritage. His debut album, Some Nights I Dream of Doors (2022), earned critical acclaim for its raw emotion and genre-fluid production.
