Bio
Anggun is an Indonesian-French singer-songwriter who rose to prominence in her native country as a teenager before relocating to Europe in the mid-1990s. Blending Indonesian pop and rock influences with contemporary Western production, she achieved international success with her 1997 album "Snow on the Sahara," whose title track became a European hit. Over subsequent decades she has released albums in multiple languages, represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, and established herself as a prominent figure in both the Francophone and Southeast Asian music markets.
