Bio
Watchhouse is an American string band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, originally formed as Mandolin Orange in 2009. The group, led by multi-instrumentalists Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz, blends elements of Americana, bluegrass, folk, and newgrass. In 2019 they adopted the name Watchhouse to better reflect their evolving sound and collaborative approach. Their music is characterized by intricate instrumentation, close vocal harmonies, and introspective songwriting.
