Rebecca Lucy Taylor, known professionally as Self Esteem, is an English singer-songwriter and musician from Sheffield. She first gained recognition as one half of the indie duo Slow Club before launching her solo project in 2017. Her work blends pop, indie, and electronic elements, often exploring themes of self-worth, relationships, and personal growth. Taylor has released two critically acclaimed albums under the Self Esteem moniker and is noted for her candid lyricism and dynamic live performances.
