Louie Austen (born Alois Luef, 19 September 1946) is an Austrian singer and performer from Vienna whose career spans jazz, electronic, and nu-jazz styles. He first gained recognition in the 1970s as a cabaret and jazz vocalist before embracing electronic production in the late 1990s, collaborating with producers such as Mario Neugebauer and Kruder & Dorfmeister. His warm baritone and blend of swing, lounge, and downtempo beats have made him a distinctive voice in European club music.
