D Smoke is an American rapper and songwriter from Inglewood, California. Born Daniel Anthony Farris on October 17, 1985, he first gained national attention as the winner of Netflix’s rhythm competition series Rhythm + Flow in 2019. His debut album Black Habits followed in 2020 and showcased a blend of conscious lyricism, jazz, and West Coast funk.
