Bio
Jay Sean (born Kamaljit Singh Jhooti, 26 March 1981) is a British singer, songwriter and producer from Hounslow, London. He first rose to prominence in the UK garage scene in the early 2000s with singles such as "Eyes on You" and "Stolen," before achieving international success with the 2009 hit "Down," which topped the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album Me Against Myself (2004) and follow-up My Own Way (2008) established him as a leading UK R&B artist, while later releases like All or Nothing (2009) and Neon (2013) showcased his blend of pop, R&B and hip-hop influences. Sean has collaborated with artists including Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Pitbull, and continues to release music independently.
