Bio

The Cure formed in Crawley, England in 1976. Frontman Robert Smith has led the band through decades of evolving post-punk, gothic rock and alternative sounds. Their breakthrough came with the 1980s albums Seventeen Seconds, Faith and Pornography, followed by mainstream success with The Head on the Door, Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me and the multi-platinum Disintegration. Signature singles include "Boys Don't Cry," "Just Like Heaven" and "Friday I'm in Love." The group has sold over 30 million records and continues to headline major festivals worldwide.
