Los Rieleros del Norte is a Mexican-American norteño band formed in the early 1980s in Ojinaga, Chihuahua. The group is known for its energetic performances and a repertoire that blends traditional norteño with banda, cumbia norteña, and ranchera styles. Their music often features accordion, bajo sexto, bass, drums, and saxophone, creating the distinctive norteño sax sound. Over several decades the band has released numerous albums on regional Mexican labels and built a loyal following throughout the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Their catalog includes both original corridos and reinterpretations of popular regional hits, maintaining a consistent presence in the norteño scene.
