Admiral Tibet, born Kenneth Allen on November 14, 1960, in Saint Mary, Jamaica, is a veteran dancehall singer known for his conscious lyrics and smooth vocal style. Emerging in the mid-1980s, he gained recognition with hits such as "Serious Time" and "Running from Reality," establishing himself as one of the leading voices in the conscious dancehall movement. Throughout his career, Admiral Tibet has recorded for many of Jamaica's top producers, including Bobby Digital, King Jammy, and Penthouse, blending traditional reggae roots with modern dancehall rhythms. His work often addresses social issues, spirituality, and everyday struggles, earning him respect among both dancehall and roots reggae audiences.
