Bio

Paul Lewis is an English classical pianist born in 1972 in Liverpool. He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Lewis is renowned for his interpretations of Beethoven, Schubert, and Haydn, and has recorded complete cycles of the Beethoven piano sonatas and concertos for Harmonia Mundi. He regularly performs with leading orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra and the Berlin Philharmonic. His playing is noted for its clarity, structural insight, and expressive depth.
