Bio
Gregory Porter is an American jazz vocalist and composer known for his rich baritone voice and blend of jazz, soul, and gospel influences. Born in Sacramento, California, he gained recognition with his debut album Water (2010) and achieved wider success with Liquid Spirit (2013), which won a Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album. Porter has released several acclaimed albums, including Take Me to the Alley (2016) and All Rise (2020), and is recognized for his songwriting and distinctive personal style. He continues to perform internationally and remains one of the leading figures in contemporary vocal jazz.
