Bio
Gary Wright was an American singer, songwriter, and keyboardist best known for his 1976 hit single "Dream Weaver." Born in Cresskill, New Jersey, he began his career in the 1960s as a member of the British band Spooky Tooth before launching a successful solo career in the 1970s. His signature sound blended soft rock with prominent synthesizer textures, helping define the yacht rock era. Wright continued recording and performing into the 21st century until his death in 2023.
