Cherrelle is an American R&B singer born on October 11, 1958, in Los Angeles. She rose to prominence in the 1980s with a series of hits on Tabu Records, most notably the duet "Saturday Love" with Alexander O'Neal. Her smooth vocal style helped define the quiet storm and new jack swing eras, and she continued releasing music into the 1990s.
