Bio
Natalie Cole was an American singer, songwriter, and actress born in Los Angeles in 1950. The daughter of jazz legend Nat King Cole, she rose to fame in the 1970s with R&B and soul hits before achieving crossover success with her 1991 standards album Unforgettable… with Love, which paired her vocals with her father’s recordings. Her career spanned soul, pop, jazz, and R&B, earning multiple Grammy Awards including Album of the Year. She released over twenty studio albums and collaborated with artists such as Peabo Bryson and George Benson. Cole continued performing until her death in 2015.
