Bio
Trey Lorenz is an American R&B singer and songwriter born in Florence, South Carolina. He first gained recognition in the early 1990s as a backing vocalist for Mariah Carey, notably performing the duet "I'll Be There" with her during her 1992 MTV Unplugged performance. Lorenz released his self-titled debut album in 1992 on Epic Records, which included the single "Someone to Hold" that reached the Billboard Hot 100. He has continued to work as a session vocalist and songwriter for various artists while maintaining a solo career in R&B music.
