Spencer Charnas (born November 14, 1985) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor best known as the lead vocalist and frontman of the metalcore band Ice Nine Kills. Born in Swampscott, Massachusetts, he co-founded the band in 2002 and has remained its primary creative force through multiple lineup changes and stylistic shifts. Charnas is recognized for his theatrical vocal delivery and conceptual approach to songwriting, particularly on Ice Nine Kills’ horror-inspired albums such as The Silver Scream and Welcome to Horrorwood. His performances often incorporate elaborate stage productions and narrative storytelling drawn from classic horror films.
