Mokobé Traoré, known professionally as Mokobé, is a French rapper and singer of Malian descent born in Vitry-sur-Seine on 24 May 1976. He first gained recognition as a member of the influential hip-hop collective 3ème Œil before launching a solo career that blends West African rhythms with contemporary urban sounds. His music fuses afropop, coupé-décalé, ndombolo, rumba congolaise, zouk, and French R&B, reflecting both his Malian heritage and his upbringing in the Parisian suburbs. Mokobé remains active as a recording artist and live performer across Europe and Africa.
