Bio
Joey + Rory was an American country and bluegrass duo formed in 2008 by singer-songwriters Joey Martin Feek and Rory Lee Feek. The husband-and-wife team gained national attention after finishing third on CMT’s Can You Duet and went on to release several albums blending traditional country, gospel, and bluegrass influences. The duo’s career ended in 2016 when Joey Feek passed away following a battle with cervical cancer. Their final recordings, including the posthumously released album Hymns That Are Important to Us, underscored their deep roots in southern gospel and hymn traditions.
